Peace, quiet and calme. The location was perfect, being just out of town but such a pleasent walk to all the shops and restaurants. Our balcony and the Hotel terrace were just what we wanted. This was our best visit yet to La Rochelle.
Lunch or dinner would have been good but there are so many good restaurants nearby that it was not a problem.

The view was superb the room very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely polite. amazingly they also were very reasonable when my flight was cancelled at the last minute and i could notmake the first night. They did not charge me even though they could have legitimately done so.
Although breakfast was ok i think 13 euro a bit expensive. 7 or 8 would have been more like it. However following my previous comments i certainly wasn't complaining.

Yes enjoyed our stay and reception exchanged our room, no quibble. However the older frenchman assumed we had the 13 euro breakfast on our exit and the reception lady applogized immediatly.

The view and location are ideal to come and visit La Rochelle. However the hotel and its rooms are hampered by old age (a little furniture dilapidation).

Les Brises is situated in a lovely location with fantastic sea views. Well worth paying extra for room with sea view. The hotel is approximately one mile walk from town along sea front and parkland. It is very clean and comfortable and staff are pleasant and helpful. There is a good terrace with loungers, sun umbrellas and tables and chairs where refreshments are served by staff. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

Very quiet and peaceful and most of all the brilliant sea view.
Breakfast a bit expensive - 11 euro for juice, croissants and coffee.
