The desk staff was EXCELLENT; friendly, efficient, fast. The ice machine on 9th floor broke. The Maintenance staff ran to get ice for us before working on machine,and smiled. The Walnut Room wait staff was really slammed at breakfast but was good humored and efficient.
Walnut Room breakfast Supervisor in blue suit was snooty, would not give wait staff a hand on Friday of our stay. He just walked around looking superior. (The weekend guy was really good in contrast).

A Jackhammer started at 7am across the street from our room. I will not recommend this hotel until the construction is completed. Service was very good, but the noise made it a bad experience.

Quiet. Convenient parking.
Horrid toilet paper - try some made with wheat straw. Hard to regulate heating. Took forever to cool off. No refregerator or microwave. I never like that you don't provide different blanket options. One of us loves the down comforter and the other would prefer a light weight blanket. Wish Starbucks stayed open all day.

Everything and everyone made our stay a pleasure. Had not stayed at the Hilton President Kansas City before, but when we return we will be staying at this hotel.
