It s basically near the airport. easy to find the stores like Costco across the road,7/11 , Safeway..just 5 min drive and others..the only thing I suggest to the owner...pls cut that 2 coconut trees growing near the swimming pool and change to a more shortly kind tree so the view from the rooms facing the haleakala is not obstructed..we went there Feb 11 but it was close due to show...so we only viewed it thru the window..thanks.overall..it was a pleasant stay..
Nothing..except for that 2 growing coconut trees...obstructing the view..

Exceptionally friendly staff. Small hotel - next to the airport - perfect for an overnight stay when the timeshare isn't ready until the following day. The 'restaurant' is a little meager - there is a Krispy Kreme across the street, if you have to.

I was just in for one night waiting on family to arrive the next day. I was envisioning an overpriced airport Hotel. I was happily surprised by the beauty, comfort and quality staff at the Hotel. I had planned to grocery shop, hit the drug store and stock up on items needed for the week on the other side of the island. Instead I enjoyed the pool, grounds and restaurant.

The facilities and room were nice and clean. They did not look old or unkempt.
I checked in early and the only room they had was a handicap-friendly room which I would have preferred been kept for a handicapped guest.

I stayed here because I was flying out early the next morning and wanted to avoid the long drive from home. I was pleasantly surprised to find a real quality room. Very clean, comfortable and attractive.
The only thing I did not like was that there was no functional channel guide on the tv, though there was a "guide" button on the remote. After asking at the desk, I was told I'd have to use the TV Guide channel, but there were no instructions in the room for finding it. After a search through the channels, I found it on channel 36. But it showed many channels not available on my tv. I learned through trial and error what was actually available. A simple note in the room about how to find that guide channel and what channels were available would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.

Very nice, good location, friendly staff
Tried calling 5 times for the airport shuttle but the telephone system was not functioning correctly. After a $10 cab ride and mentioning it to the front desk staffer and calling the number with the functioning problem I asked for a $10 credit. The staff could not make that decision almost accusing me of trying to get $10 discount.
