This is an older place, however the housekeeping staff was super. I was spotless. Even behind the bathroom door was clean. My hat is tipped to the Ladys that do the unsung work.
Had to slam the door to close. Not good for someone else that might be sleeping.

Staff was friendly ,helpful knowable
Room looked like it had flooded at some point,bathroom door was either stuck open or closed. Will I stay here again ? most likely not.

Somehow we where booked @ the wrong hotel &ended up @ the. Oceanside. We booked a room @ the J Island & when we checked our e-mail we landed @ the Oceanside. Also booked an ocean view & got a parking lot room. Now since it was a holiday we didn't have many other choices. However when we checked in we were upgraded to an ocean view by the 2nd staff person. The first staff person knew our dilemma but didn't bother to help us in any way. In the end the kids liked it there and had a nice time. Our room surely needs an upgrade.
Old musty room. Would recommend if there were nicer rooms.

Everything we needed was right in walking distance
Noise from ajoining room was so clear and no hair dryer or ample supply of supplies. Maid service did not supply next day coffee

Yes, my telephone was not connected so unusable when I checked in. I asked that it be fixed and it never was. Also the facility is old and dirty when compared with the Quality Inn across the street.

The hotel has a great location since it is on a large beautiful beach. The hotel had bike rentals to tour the island which was very convenient. Front desk staff was also pleasant and attentive.
The room was old and the building needs some work. The bathroom floors were stained, the tub was dirty and there was damage to the walls and bathroom door. It was a great location but the hotel is old and the room desperately needs renovations. It felt more like a Motel 6 than a beachside inn and suite.
