Can't fault this hotel. I had a lovely although brief stay. My room was lovely and quiet and very cosy. Aaron was great and very welcoming (along with the cat). Thanks!

I think the Railway Hotel is a good clean hotel, it is what it is, a small hotel just of the main road in the city, the staff made my experience. Breakfast was good.
I had an evening meal in the hotel, the dish was ok but a bit to salty.

Friendliness of the staff. The setting and style of the hotel is classic and well worth the stay.
The bed was nearing its use by date I think. But would not want others to judge the Hotel on this solely.

The helpful staff and nice room were all that we expected. It was clean warm and comfortable. Had we wished we could have sat in the lounge with an open fire. There was helpful suggestions where to buy supplies in town after hours. There is no lift (it is a heritage hotel) but the helpful staff volunteered to take our bags upstairs. Management has changed recently and the new managers are intent on building a good name.
