Everything was excellent

I always have liked the location and the facility.

When we first flushed the toilet after putting out bags down, the water came up to the seat. We called the desk and told them our toilet was clogged. When we returned after dinner, it flushed, but very slowly and was clearly not fixed. The next morning, it would not flush and none of us could go to the bathroom. It was awful. We complained, but did not have time to wait for repair so we used the lobby bathroom and left. There was also something rust colored and gooey on the sheets of one bed. It was the worst experience ever at that hotel. To aggravate us further, a man who appeared to be a manager, was flirting with the two women at the front desk for over an hour and was still doing nothing when we left the hotel. I would say there are management problems here -- at least on weekends.

Room was very comfortable.

It was so large with so many wings that it was confusing to find the room (even after we had been there a few time.)

The hotel has had a good reputation over the years, but it seems to have gone down hill when we stayed this time. This is sad because the location is perfect for many reasons.

The outside looked slightly tired and seedy: weeds, especially in and around the tennis courts. We weren't playing but the courts could be seen from the driveways and from inside the hotel. We had to be assigned a second room because the one they gave us hadn't been cleaned at all. The second room was clean, but there was only a half-roll of toilet paper, no hand lotion or shower cap, the sink was cracked. Again, just seedy. And the arrangement of the halls and lack of signs to exit or to room numbers or to elevators is very confusing. Just looks as if no one really cares much.

Yes they had a convention of people dressed in costumes. I did not have a problem with the people just the party in the room next to mine that lasted until 1:30 am.

It was very close to the office I needed to work with and had all the basic amnenities I needed.

Close to work, many restaurants in area.
