As always, the staff were friendly and helpful. I love staying at the Seaside because it is locally owned and that aloha vibe is strongly felt. The koi pond is awesome.
It was during Merrie Monarch so the place was crowded and we happened to have very noisy neighbors who were partying past midnight. We had to get up at 3am for a lava boat tour so did not get good sleep.

The friendly and accommodating staff.
The facilities are very old and need to be updated. The whole place smells bad. The beds are uncomfortable, and it isn't worth the price.
