Super 8 by Wyndham Helena

The staff are very professional and "helpful", and we enjoyed our stay!! We intend to plan a future night at that Super 8 !! Many thanks for a restful night!!

Disappointed there was not a pool or hot tub

I stayed at the Super 8 in Helena the night before the annual Model Train and Railroadiana show. Everything in my room #204 was clean and in good shape. Only problem was the heater was a little noisy, and didn't have a lower speed fan. I just turned it off, and was warm enough. Breakfast in the morning was a treat, since we had to get going early. I'm sure I'll stay there again next year.

A barking dog kept us up most of the 2nd night. Began at 10:45 and sounded like it was in our bathroom it was so close. called front desk at 12:30 to complain. Called twice more but line was busy. Called at 3:40 and Steve answered. Asked if we knew what room it was in. I thought he was finally going to do something about it. Could hear people coming in around 4 and the barking stopped. When I complained the next morning I was greeted with "join the crowd" I told him nicely that I thought we should be refunded for the night but he said couldn't do it. Slapped a piece of paper and pen on the counter and told us to write our complaint. It probably went in the garbage as we walked out the door. Don't know if I want to stay in a Super 8 again but I definitely will not stay in a hotel that allows animals. I am sure people with pets have to make a deposit so they should have known exactly where that dog was. He should have been removed to the lobby so guests can sleep as most of them have distances to drive the next day.

With only on cab company in Helena it would be nice if you provided some kind of shuttle service. Our flight arrived in Helena at 12:20 and we could not get there until 2;30 because the cab company was that busy. It SUCKED!!!

I really appreciated the in room refrigerator and microwave. Great ideas. The toilet was very stained and pretty disgusting, the bed was way too soft, and the blanket (not spread) felt so old it seemed like it could just fall apart.

I was happy with the room and no one bothered me at all. I did have to leave early because I had a reaction to a medication I was taking but the time I was there was very nice. Thank you. Rosemary Halderman
