Super 8 by Wyndham Hattiesburg South

The hotel was close to my destination in Hattiesburg, was easy convenience to restaurants, and was quiet with no obstructive noise.

There was no television guide or information to where specific channels were located. The push-button "lighted" restaurant guide in the lobby did not work.

Convenience of area

I booked 2 non-smoking rooms. One of them reaked of smoke.

Hotel clerk was very accommodating; housekeeping crew very friendly.

Breakfast could have offered more choices. I am not a big breakfast eater, so I was satisfied.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful when needed an extra pillow or coffee packets -- and the coffee was excellent I might add --

That darn tornado! Just kidding -- the parking lot was just a bit crowded at times

The breakfast you offer is fresh, and tasty.

The staff were not friendly at all. I felt they were either underpaid, had a hangover, had been chewed out by the boss right before I arrived or were tired. I recieved no smile when I checked in, no friendlyness of any kind. the next morning, as I came out of my room, the person servicing the rooms spoke and was the only one friendly at all. When I went into the office area to get coffee and fruit, no one spoke. I did, and then was greeted. Sad.The wall paper in my room is peeling off the walls. Every thing was very old and used up. One of the chairs to the table in the room was broken. I had requested two beds for four people, and there was only enough towels etc. for only two people.

Price, location, general looks

The sheets had not been changed on the bed. If the sheets have not been changed since the last guest, it is a deal breaker, even if everything else is great. Human hairs from previous guest was on sheets.

Clean well appointed room at a low price

Very nice place. i would definitley stay there again. rooms are clean and all the facilities are provided.
