Central location
I have stayed here before but would never stay here again ..the room was next to the stairs and was extremely noisy to say the least there were people coming and going til 4am doors slamming and talking loud with total disregard for other guests,probably because they were intoxicated..this is not a family hotel its a doss house for drunken teens..we never slept all night..the staff didnt say anything to these people about the noise..long tiring trip back to Auckland

We left some clothes in the room wardrobe and they sent it back to us. We were really pleased that we got them back and that they were all there. You have honest staff and that is really nice. Thank you.

We usually stay at Ventura Inn when we are in Hamilton. We love the friendly staff, easy parking, good rates, and great breakfasts.
However this time round we felt the place was a bit tired and ready for a good paint and makeover. The furnishings in our standard room were shabby, i.e. the bedspreads were split and the fridge a bit odd.

Cheerful, helpful front desk staff.
Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.
Good on-site parking; with a choice of some under-cover spaces.
Very close, with easy quick drive, to the Waikato Hospital.
Great views of the stylish Court House from our room.
Very quiet room - no traffic noise at all.

We like this hotel and have stayed a few times. The breakfast is great and the rooms have always been good, apart from this time.
This time we had quite a pokey room that was in desperate need of a facelift. Beds uncomfortable and furniture old, dirty and second rate. I had requested a room away from the lifts and stairwell as we have a four yr old and ended up with a room one away from them. Not sure whether we will stay next trip to Hamilton based on this stay.

The room was nice... and the breakfast was appreciated..
Being not a local to Hamilton... I did have trouble finding you motel.. didnt realise the street divived in two..

Location
Thread bear/torn bed quilt. This really is a good example of the Ventura Inn. Probably built in the 1980's with not a cent spent since. Needs upgrading.
