Ease of registering and helpfulness of porters/greeters.
A bit disappointed with the view. All of the rooms with two double beds faced a wall of the next door building. Not a huge issue though

Frendly service and central location.
Hot water in the shower was a bit of shock when it suddenly got very,very hot.

The staff are great. One example. Due to Nova Scotia's "special" liquor laws those under the age of majority cannot eat in the restaurant after a certain time. Staff set up a table for us outside of the restricted area. It was terrific.
Not the hotel's fault, but Halifax is cold in February.

Pleasant staff, excellent restaurant, updated accommodations - rooms well appointed - modern
Close to the QEII hospital - but if you want to be close to the waterfront, this is not the hotel of choice. Wonderful property, well maintained, courteous staff
