Days Inn by Wyndham Great Bend

No elevator and the steps are very narrow.

It had Internet service & was close to restaurants

Room was very dated, the chair was filthy, the bed was very low to the floor & it had the smell of curry throughout the hotel

The breakfast bar and friendliness of the staff.

Nothing

It was dirty, the entrance light didn't work, the bathtub faucet didn't work,and there was mold in the corners of the bathroom. We had a first floor room with guests above. Everytime they moved the floor squeaked and sounded as if they were going to fall through. The sheets on the bed didn't fit so they kept coming off and bunching up under youWe were suppose to stay two nights but checked after one night.

Staff was very easy to talk to and very helpful. We had an issue when we got to the motel but it was handled in a very professional way. I was very pleased and thankful because of this employee's exceptional dedication to her job.

Needs quite a lot of improvement.

The location was right off the 10th St strip, so it was convenient. The continental breakfast was very good & the area was always keep clean.

There are a few areas that would not pass inspection, and really need to be addressed: Security (no secured entry/exit from the back door-always unlocked); Odor (when you walked down the hallway to the rooms, you could smell a damp, musky odor-similar to water damage); WIFI (they haven't set it up correctly, and they told me "just keep trying" i tried 4 different times, what a joke); Room 115's A/C window unit's air worked after you turned it off/on a few times, probably needs servicing; Room 117's carpet had ripples & was sticky to walk on barefooted, i noticed water stains on the bathroom tiles and am certain there was water damage to the room, may just need to pull up the carpet & replace.

When we arrived at our room it had been about 109 degrees in Great Bend that day. Our AC was on but the room was very hot. Went down to the desk and the clerk, very nice lady, was able to put us in the room across the hall. She told me the rooms on the west were always very warm, but this was unbearable. Our room was clean and very cool after we had to move and the clerk was very accomadating.
