Great Staff and great Shuttle Bus!!

I liked that it was clean and the air was fresh and it had a nice new-looking bathroom; all this in spite of its age (I'd stayed there in the 90's when the hotel was fairly new.)It had all the same amenities(hair dryer, iron/ironing board, fridge, microwave, etc.) that I have found in other places where I stayed which were a little more expensive, such as a Best Western Plus, The bed had just the right amount of firmness so I slept well. One small thing I also liked was the book in the desk drawer which contained (among other things)a neat and easy-to-read listing of all the available t.v. channels.

I had NO major dislikes at the Super 8 Grapevine...only a few minor things. I have had more comfortable pillows at other hotels. I don't believe there was an ice machine on the 2nd floor where my room was located and I was too tired to go to another floor. Last of all, the breakfast area seemed a little small. It was not a big problem for me but I suppose it could be during a busy tourist season when more people are staying there.

Great location. Close to good restaurants, the airport and historic downtown grapevine. The room was clean, staff very nice. The complimentary breakfast was good with the Texas waffle maker, and plenty of other choices. Good coffee too. It is not a fancy high end hotel, but it is a good value for a clean, comfortable room.

I wanted to reuse the towels to conserve water, etc. I put the "go green" card on the counter and hung the towels up on the rack. They were replaced by housekeeping.

The location was easily accessible to many attractions. The price was reasonable.

It smelled like cigarette smoke from the moment we walked into the lobby and eve in our hotel room which was a non smoking room.

Friendly efficient staff. Quiet (no loud noise during the night). easy access on/off highway.

Nice and close to the airport. Free shuttle (wish I had known, may not have rented a car)

It was close to all the places that I needed to go to. Good places to eat were also close by. The LG TV's picture was very nice.

The hallway always smelled of cigarette smoke. I guess since it was a non smoking room the people were smoking in the halls or the stairways not sure. But it was strong. Could use more creamer and sugar in the packets of coffee that are in the room.
