The staff was amazing! From the time we were greeted by the valet to checking out and everyone in between... You can really tell when an establishment prides itself on customer service and when an establishment makes it a priority... The Gaylord Texan surely does both! The hotel is unbelievable! Truly a wonderful weekend for my wife and I!

Valet was very helpful. Facility is beautiful. Service at the Riverwalk Cantina, from Michael, was great and he was very kind. Brandi and Mari, servers at the Old Hickory Steakhouse, were the highlight of our stay. They provided an incredible dining and drinking experience for our first anniversary. They were personable but also gave us enough space to enjoy our evening together. They provided helpful recommendations on our meal and cocktails. We sincerely enjoyed their service and company. I would return just to be waited on by them!
I'm not a fan of surprise expenses like parking. I would prefer you include the $22 in the room rate for so I know what to accurately expect.

The location of all the events, restaurants, rooms, etc. We had a wonderful Christmas.
Not that I can think of. For being extremely busy everyone was taken care of and our arrangements we made were fine as well as the large number of people at the restaurants as it was arranged before and the booking and tables were always ready. A very special time for our family!

Had a wonderful time! Except that once when we came back to our room the door to our room was open. Nothing was missing but still bothersome.
Christmas morning we decided to go off premises for coffee and when valet delivered my car, the passenger seat was in the full recline position. Obviously someone had taken a nap in my car. There were also sunflower seeds on the floorboards. I reported this to your front desk and she took me to talk to Toby, valet manager. He said he was sorry that happened and I never heard from him again.

The resort is amazing! Spectacular atrium. Wonderful rooms. Great location.
The Western Michigan University Bronco fans were all staying there which left the restaurants over-full. I was surprised that a hotel of that size had so few restaurants.
