Location, indoor entrance, parking & continental breakfast.
Commode was hard to flush and imprint of hot iron on carpet.

It's a very nice place and very convenient to to all the shops and restaurants on the downtown Parkway.

Very comfortable beds. We had some problems in the room but when brought to their attention was taken care of immediately.
The parking was very limited and small for the average car.

Main reason for choosing Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gatlinburg: Location
I was close to downtown Gatlinburg and we could easily walk to most places. Did not have to worry about finding a place to park and paying extra for parking. There was plenty of hot water and the air conditioning was excellent.
The maid service could use some improvement. We had fresh clean towels and a clean bed each night but the bathroom floor was never swept or cleaned. The motel itself was "older" and could certainly stand an upgrade but overall for the price we paid we were satisfied. The room was small but the only time we were in the room was basically at night to sleep.
