Front dest workers were both outgoing and helpful. Enjoyed the feel of the past, but welcomed being back to full electricity, etc., after departure. Wished for dates on some of the pictures. Comfortable sitting out on the balcony. Very pleasant.

It's historic: cramped bath/lavatory, few electrical outlets.

I was on my way from Big Bend National Park to Guadalupe Mtns National Park. Fort Davis was an ideal midpoint.

Able to sit on the pouch. Smoke a cigar and enjoy the beautiful garden area Parking in back for a truck and motorcycle trailer had plenty of space.

The hotel. the room, the Blue Mountain Bistro Restaurant, the proximal location to the First Davis Fort, the proximal location to the Observatory. Pretty much everything about the Limpia was enjoyable.

The TV had a really bad connection. Wished we could have had breakfast at the porch but it was closed.

The hotel is very old, but has been very well maintained. The words that come to mind are: quaint, charming, lovely...etc. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit, have a glass of wine, and enjoy the view and beautiful sunset. The employees could not have been nicer and even helped us two old ladies by carrying our luggage to our room, and also to the car when we were leaving.

Our bathtub was a bit slippery and didn't have a grab bag to aid in getting in and out of it. The batteries must have been dead in the battery operated blinds, but we were able to close the curtains for privacy.
