ibis Faro Algarve

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and room. The room was alway's clean.Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful we felt very comfortable.

The food was not great for us.

A calm, clean, predictable stay. The pool facility is a major bonus. Staff are always most helpful and facilities always clean.

I tend to stay at the Ibis every year at the same time to attend the Moto Cube Faro rally. Several changes were notable during this visit; less staff; pool side bar was out of service; buffet breakfast choice was smaller - no museli, boiled eggs, fresh fruit salad; the lunch and dinner menu had little selection (given that the location of the IBIS and lack of local restaurants). When we did order dinner, it was, to say the lest, dreadful, small portioned and under cooked. Also, please don't serve drinks at the bar in plastic glasses! A great shame really. The air conditioning in the room hardly worked which made sleeping uncomfortable. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Come on IBIS Faro- pull your socks up!

The food in the evening was disgusting, the burger was served Raw in the middle not rare but RAW & on the side were Crisps not chips. Will never have another meal their. The female reception staff was rude, sarcastic and unpleasant. The cleaners were also rude; Did not smile when smiled at.

Convenient access to and from Faro airport. For us on this trip, that was a big factor; we were driving north to Tomar the day after our arrival.

Since breakfast is not included in the hotel tariff, tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be a nice touch.
