The hotel was beautiful offering very comfortable rooms with the help of a tuck box x lovely fluffy towels and a fab breakfast. Excellent

The staff were very helpful and courteous, above and beyond expectations. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed happy and cheerful at all times. They knew our names and made us feel very welcome. Peter at reception was particularly kind to us.
Not surprisingly the hotel was busy and we had to wait for tables to become free at breakfast and at the bar. When booking we were quoted a room only rate and we would have preferred to be quoted inclusive rates for bed and breakfast.

The staff were consistently pleasant and helpful, our room was a generous size, the location is excellent - we could walk to all the places we wanted to see.
At the time the bar and restaurant were out of commission for refurbishment - perhaps there should have been a small discount to the price to reflect this. The fire alarm went off early on Sunday morning (not the hotel's fault as one of the guests had been smoking). There did not seem to be anyone from the hotel staff to keep guests informed once e had evacuated the hotel.

The hotel was nice and quiet loved the room no.350 the hotel was nicely located and amenties were good.
We thought the breakfast was not that good and when we went to get it no fried eggs no sausages and we also think the price is very high.

It was very noisy!! you could hear other guests in their bedrooms and the street at the side of the building was very busy and noisy

The staff were wonderful and the cleanliness was excellent.
Nothing wrong during our stay but one observation we had was that the room we were in would be overlooked by some apartments being built across the road. Some net curtains at the window would be a good idea once these apartments are completed.
