We booked this hotel on our way to our destination in France and on our way back. Booking a return trip guaranteed accommodation, when we arrived no heating in room so they supplied a fan heater, dinner was poor (see below) but breakfast was fine but expensive. Rooms were clean. We would stay again as the room was reasonable value subject to booking online but very expensive if booked on arrival..
The food was very expensive and of poor quality. We ordered ribeye steak on the evening we were there, when it arrived it was small, the knife had problems cutting it so you can imagine what it wa like attempting to eat it. We complained and were offered a small reduction. We would suggest using Pizza Go Go in town, good food and value . On our return visit they were revamping the kitchen and no breakfast was available . The staff on duty offered bread and a tube of coffee to have in room but no milk, person on duty did not seem too worried, many French complained.

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to safely store our bikes, as well as eat delicious food at the hotel with great service.
The hotel was very eco friendly, which we loved - encouraging guests not to leave appliances on standby, or on over night... however a small room design flaw meant that we could not see a way to turn the TV off of standby, as it was boxed into the wall. Presumably meaning each rooms TV was always on standby?. We had a great stay though - was very clean, with great staff.

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!

The refurbishment of the rooms is excellent adding to the comfort we expect during our stay. The new shower unit is a great improvement.
We did find the meals in the restaurant overpriced and that was confirmed when our meals was brought to the table and sadly I don't think we would choose to eat in the restaurant on a future visit

Easy to find and because we had taken a special deal it was very reasonable. Free wifi in the room was very welcome.
Disappointed that the restaurant menu had changed since I had checked it the week before, as vegetarians we had been pleased to find much we could eat on the old menu. Sadly, not much choice on the new one. But it was OK.

See above. Rooms clean and comfortable, staff helpful. Everything we needed for an overnight stop. Food good in hotel restaurant, breakfast excellent value.
We had asked if possible for connecting rooms, perhaps because we requested 2 twins rather than 1 twin and 1 double this didn't seem to be possible.
