Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport - Dania Beach

Location, nice hotel, shuttle, good breakfast

What I liked about this hotel is it's location and the fact that I was able to get a coffee and waffle as well as a shuttle by 6 am.

What I didn't like about the hotel was the filth in the room (dust and grime and even a "brown" smudge of some sort on the lightswitch). The hotel is a busy prestay to cruise travel and the airport. Their solution is rather awkward. Passing out tickets and shouting out numbers like bingo from the front desk (then forcing people to wait for access to luggage anyway) seemed like a heavyhanded attempt to bring order to chaos with little empathy for the customer.

The location was great for us. Also the breakfast in the morning was great

We arrived at the airport and called for the shuttle. We ended up calling three more times as we waited an hoir and twenty minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. When we arrived at the hotel the staff was not friendly at all. We got our room and there was garbage all over the floor outside our door. The carpets were very worn looking in the hallway. We later went down to the front desk to inquire about the local restaurant and waited for over give minutes for one of the front desk clerks to help is. Neither one even acknowledged that we were waiting. We understood they were busy but a simple nod of the head would have been good. We ended up asking one of the housekeepers we saw walking by about restaurants. The morning that we were to depart we got a call from the front desk telling us we needed to get out of our room as they had to clean it. Check out was at 11 and they called us at 10. While we loved the location for our travel needs we were very disappointed with the services
