Quiet, away from the city and busy roads. The Smokehouse Restaurant was very good.

We have stayed at St. Eugene in the past, we love the location, it is beautiful and quiet. It is close to Cranbrook but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our dinner and breakfast were great, as we ate breakfast we saw geese flying past and 4 deer running across the golf course.
The heating system in our room was very noisy, it woke us up every time it came on. The shower head was pointed at the wall and we could not move it thus it was quite a feat having a shower. We did mention this to the check out lady in the a.m. and she did say the heating system has it's quirks. She also assured us she would mention the shower head problem to maintenance.
