The kindness of the staff, the location of the hotel, the quality of meals

The view from the large windows on the snowy mountain, the wood flooring of the room, cozy, comfortable mattress and duvet, air conditioning working perfectly, and large bathroom with good products, good soundproofing.

Could clear the snow from the car park of the hotel when it snows, just as it does on the road, so they would avoid a lot of jams, overruns and difficulties in general of the city cars. The breakfast had a queue of half an hour, although there were several free tables - there were clearly fewer employees, the spa is out of the hotel, which is not convenient.

The location, comfort and coziness.

The poor restaurant service, with just two employees to a weekend full of winter, the dinner turned out to be always a source of stress and discontent. Allied to this, a menu very poor quality and dubious culinary absolutely, despite the claim that the name of gourmet dishes available from two mirrored. Finally, the cheapest meal, without wine, was over 50 € (3 persons, one 5 year old who asked children's menu, without wine ).... I warn so strongly the option of dining in the hotel (although in our case was the only solution, since the movement in the mountains was absolutely handicapped).

The air conditioning (heating) was not working the room. The only thing that made it easier to remedy this situation was to provide us more blankets. Neither was available for a radiator heating the room in what was reported as the coldest night of autumn. (For these problems, and when challenged, there was a 15% discount on the room rate, which is the discount that is made to members of various clubs with which the hotel has an agreement). For an establishment classified as 4 star fell far short of expectations.

The location is of course in a spectacular place but we were unlucky with the weather - strong winds, in cloud and rain most of the long weekend we were there. There is a great menu in the restaurant which could without clouds have great views but see the comments on "not like". Bedroom was of a good size but basic. Reception staff very friendly and helpful as were the staff in the Restaurant.

Disappointed that having seen the menu outside the restaurant on arrival that this was not available in the evenings when a very basic Buffet was offered on both Friday and Saturday nights. Much of the food was only just warm (should have been hot)and all paltes we used were cold and when a cold coffee was served it was taken back and heated up we guessed in a microwave! The Menu was available at lunch time on the Saturday and was soooooooo much better than the Buffet. At £130 per night for a basic double room - this in our view is not 4 star. Lack of any kind of information in the bedroom. No wi-fi.

Employees are absolutely five stars. And the food too.

The fact that there is no place where you could smoke inside the hotel, on the street without being cold. And the fact that the beds in the room are two twin beds pushed together, rather than just a bed.
