Well placed in central Cognac, so it was easy to explore. The children loved the Mezzanine floor where they slept! The hotel proprietor was very welcoming and the I would gladly recommend Cheval Blanc to anyone planning a trip to this part of France.
The breakfast was a little over priced and only had a small selection, but it was all freshly baked and the coffee was great considering it was from a machine. (Although not as good as Coffee Nation!)

Very convenient for centre of town. Nice relaxed atmosphere, comfortable room with great aircon if visiting in summer. Breakfast basic but ok if travelling through.

Friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff certainly added to the enjoyment of our stay. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.
