La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cheyenne

Easy access from freeway. very nice room. nice access to Village Inn next door.

The elevator was slow. The breakfast area was way too small for the size of the hotel. They only had one salt and pepper shakes and someone stole the salt shaker! A backup plan or packets would have been nice.The charges were applied to our credit card days before our actual stay.

The heater in our room did not work and we had to move to another. The staff was helpful, however we did not like to have to move everything

My wife and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn at 2410 West Lincoln Way in Cheyenne, Wyoming the night of August 1, 2012. We were very disappointed in the overall condition of the hotel.  The entire structure - walls, doors, etc, etc. is sorely in need of painting.  I was actually reluctant to touch some surfaces - they were so filthy.  Corners in the corridors were damaged - normal wear and tear I'm sure - and sorely in need of repair. It was almost as if maintenance had been deferred because the hotel was going to be demolished and replaced.  Although the room we occupied was generally acceptable, there was mold on the ceiling above the tub and on the shower curtain.  The bathtub was also dirty.  I had to scrub it out prior to using the shower.   We also noticed a considerable amount of heat emanating from the top of the table that serves as a desk in the room.  We were concerned about the heat damaging items we left on the table. In May 2012 we stayed in a La Quinta in Somerville, Massachusetts.  That hotel was in exemplary condition and we had a much more positive experience. We definitely won't stay in the Cheyenne La Quinta in the future and we'll be certain to research other locations more thoroughly when planning future travels. Sincerely, Ken McGuire

Good location. Our air conditioning worked.

The air in our sons room was poor! The windows ALL need replacing, total junk. All of the trash cans around the hotel outdoors were gross. They were overflowing all of the time. The breakfast was totally sub-par with other hotels in this price range. We travel with our sons competitive baseball team and this was only saved by the Village Inn next door.
