Main reason for choosing Sheraton Charlotte Hotel: Location
Clean room, comfortable bed.
The workout room consisted of four cardio machines, only two of which were functional. No weights or exercise balls of any kind. The front desk was incredibly understaffed, leading to long lines. The management was disorganized. The bathroom was the size of a thimble.

Staff was very friendly
I was surprised that I had to pay for Internet service. I have never had to do that before at a hotel. Your staff should have let me know there was an additional charge for that. I think 20.00 is a little steep for parking. This could influence my decision to stay there or recommend your hotel with caution.

There was not enough light in my room (707). One lamp by the bed (king) and one on the desk. No others except in the bathroom. That made the closet and safe therein very difficult to see. Plus the room was never light enough to enjoy reading. Also, some of the equipment (switches, door plates) were very worn and need be replaced.
I would recommend this based solely on price, cautioning the listener about the flaws.

The staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable.
I would have liked to be able to fill up my water bottle with purified water, which was not available in the gym or anywhere.

Our room had a very modern look , and you could tell that tthey had just finished renovations. The public pool table was awesome, and our room had agret view of downtown. Also, the staf was very freindly.
The price, but you come to expect that staying in a big city on New Year's Eve.

A quite room that was out of the way
The smoke detector in the room next door was chirping my first night. I called twice and it was never fixed until I personally spoke with the staff in the morning. There was also quite a bit of drywall dust in the bathroom and closet that was probably due to a repair ceiling.

All of the above items were good. I liked the place.
The only thing I'd suggest is that they have coffee makers and coffee packets to brew in them in the room, as many places have now. I was hurting for my morning coffee.
