Convenience. We stayed there once before in the historic building. All the staff were friendly and professional.
The motor lodge could use an update and some repairs to the upstairs landing, but the facility was very clean.

We stayed in the new section out back. It was perfectly fine and the platform bed was so comfortable!
Wish I tried the restaurant - just had the continental breakfast which was quite minimal - coffee, toast and yogurts

Extremely nice staff. Beautiful old historic hotel. Super downtown location with great restaurants, bars, and a coffee shop close by. Really an excellent step back into Americana.

The hotel is located in the heart of Cedar Falls' historic district, which is a lively part of town with interesting shops and good restaurants. The public areas of the hotel are nicely appointed, and staff members are knowledgeable and friendly.
While our room was clean and inviting, the mattress was not as comfortable as I expected and the pillows had aged out. Definitely need to replace and upgrade pillows to provide guests with options from soft to firm.

First time staying here. Pretty cool hotel. Perfect location is perfect. We hit 7 establishments over the course of the evening all within a block. The Olive Bar on premises was a bonus and the staff was very friendly. Will be back.
