We have stayed there before, many years ago. We have liked the location. The rooms were clean, except the carpet needed a good cleaning.
As we stayed there some time ago, you can see the hotel needs a good re go. It is clean and kept up, but is very old.

We enjoyed walking to all the historical buildings and the museum. During our stay, there was a National Soccer Tournament. Our hotel housed many of the young men's teams. I expected noise to be a problem and it was not! Very happy campers.
For an older building, it was well kept. Our bathroom showed some aging with the repairs that had been made.

After staying 4 days and 3 nights I can honestly say that at first I was worried about staying here since we had our 3 year old with us. after reading some reviews not sure what we were getting. but we all had a great stay here it was very clean staff was great breakfast was more than enough. GREAT service and price was awesome and great location . if we ever go back to carson city this is where we will stay without a second thought.
I requested a room in the first floor because our son is handicap and they put us in the 3rd floor. someone did not read our request but they took care of the error and put us in first floor. fix the problem QUICK.

The room was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, Cindy was great. She really helped me and my wife out with a billing issue involving a travel agent. She is terrific and a real asset to the hotel.
Shower heads are mounted too low for a tall person (like me).
