Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn

Everyone was friendly and helpful. When my husband needed some help getting our motorcycle off of the trailer, several men who were working outside near our car, came right over to help. Bless them!

The breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

Could not check in until 3:00 PM. Water flow handle in the tub was impossible to pull out, until I stepped into the tub and pulled with all my strength. I am 6'1", and weigh 200 pounds.

Love the constant reliability of service and the location and garden decor and cleanliness - all superb.

Earlier check in is always more convenient. Like, we had reservations at other hotel in LA area, check in is 3pm but we arrived at 12pm and we were able to register and get in room to rest.

3rd floor room was beautiful with pitched beam ceiling. Bar and Grill on premise was nice, handy and yummy food. The bar area was perfect later in the evening as a "gathering place" for those not quite yet ready for bed after a fabulous family wedding/reception.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short 2 night stay in Carpinteria. For the price you cannot beat this hotel. Our family was camping a few blocks away and we were able to spend time with them until evening when we could return to our clean, comfortable, and warm roon.

Location and price/value.

Just a minor point that explains the #7 ranking of my answer for "comfort.". The mattress in Room 140 needs to be turned over because it seems to sag on the bathroom side.

The staff was nice.

I was very unpleased on how bad the cleanliness of the restroom was in my room. There was excessive build up on the shower head and mold on the ceiling, and also chipped title. The toilet clogged, and my room was located close to the freeway and all I could hear was a great deal of noise. There was also cobb webs on the ceilings wood beams. Very disapointed on the cleanliness of this establishment. Also the room service has areas of improvement, especially on the temperature of and quality of the food. Also not very appealling when I arrived to my room there was a great deal of mattress in the parking lot covered with plastic coverings. It just seem weird to have them out there like that.
