The beds were comfortable
We were not happy with how cold it was in the bar area. Also were very disappointed with no entertainment.

Comfortable bed. Updated ceramic sink area.
Old dirty carpet. Drape off the rod. Light bulbs as bright as candles. tiny bath tub and stool area. Free breakfast not worth the walk.

Many of the things about the stay were very pleasant; just as expected. the low rating on the staff was not the check-in staff. It was the way the night staff dealt with the complaint regarding the behavior of the guests in rooms 139 and 141.
Unfortunately, we were booked into a room between very boorish, obnoxious softball players who were loud and drinking early in the evening outside - not a big issue. It was only 7:00 or 8:00 or so. However, when they arrived back at the motel from the bar at about 2:30 AM, they proceeded to drink, swear, scream, fight very loudly. We contacted the desk and staff said she has talked to them. We told her to contact the police. When police arrived, the overnight staff was unable to direct them to the area in the motel where the problem was. They continued this behavior until a little past 4:00 in the morning.

The pool was nice, and the staff was really friendly. Received upgrade to a remolded room on last night stay. (room 121)
Dusty rooms, horrible baby crib, sink and tub drained slowly, soiled carpet, water pressure weak in room 118, cable tv needs upgrade(couldn't purchase a movie to watch), breakfast not worth getting up for.

Comfortable, all amenities, variety of restaurants and stores nearby, friendly staff.
Lots of noise one night - shouting, disturbance at 2 - 3 am.

This Howa4rd Johnson's must have been an old HoliDome. The inside courtyard was designed to look like New Orleans, and was absolutely enchanting!!
It needs a complete re-model! All the carpets are stained, the chair in my room was stained, my bedruffles needed to be mended, I needed help getting the hot tub turned on.

When we arrived at the motel at 2:00 they said our room was ready we got to our rooms and they hadn't been cleaned and they tried to move us to another room and that one was dirty also. The night shift maintenance man was great he's the one that cleaned our room which wasn't his job!! He told us that they would make it right with us with a discount and we haven't seen anything so far.
