Chateau Elan is a great property. The spa, food and winery are great! My wife and I are making it an annual or maybe semi-annual trip.

The staff were wonderful. Enjoyed talking to the foreign interns.
The food was disappointing. Not enough variety. Only exotic side dishes available.

The rooms were beautiful! The food was very good, but expensive. We enjoyed the golf course.
The staff were too intrusive. Loved the idea of being pampered, but at meals, they stood in a military "rest" stance to ponce on diners. They interrupted the diners to ask if you needed anything several times a meal.

Food was very pricey! How many people can eat enough food to rate a $17.00 breakfast and $50.00 dinner.
