Main reason for choosing Big Blue Hotel: Rate
We were down for the New Year break and cannot fault anything about the hotel. It was an excellent place to stay and we would have no hesitation of visiting again or recommending to our friends.
As a wine drinker I found the price of a bottle of pino grigio a bit expensive but I suppose this is the norm in 4 or 5 star hotels.

Excellent and friendly service as usual - evening meal in the Hotel was first class.
Had problems finding a parking spot in the car park - parked elsewhere initially and subsequently parked up early evening.

The Breakfast and service given by the restaurant staff was second to none, a great selection of breakfast fayre, something to suit everyone, cooked to perfection.
Having stayed here for the a weekend for the last 4 years, the hotel is now showing signs of wear, our room smelt of cigarette smoke and did not seem that clean. We were very disappointed having taken friends with us and recommending it to them. The family room we had now needs a re-fresh. We were also subjected to very noisy neighbours above our room which were running around causing distress well into the early hours of the morning, we did however, report this to reception after my children were woken by this, and still going on at 4am in the morning, far be it from us to stop anyone else fun but to continue until that time was a bit much.

I have stayed at the Big Blue in Blackpool n a number of occasions
and have always been satisfied BUT i wish there were more special offers on during the months of September and October which would appeal to me

The Family Rooms are amazing value, my daughter loved the room and the bunk beds.. breakfast was convienent and had everything available.

I liked it's close proximity to the town cente and all the main attractions. I liked the fact that it represented great value for money and was a much nicer hotel in my opinion than the more expensive hilton
