Main reason for choosing Graduate Berkeley: Location
Perfect location for campus visiting. Very nice friendly feel to the hotel, appropriate for where it is - it reflects the spirit of Cal. Was sorry to leave - like a home away from home.
Unavoidable noise outside the back windows, which overlook a parking, garbage area etc. But this is a very minor quibble.

The bathroom did not have anywhere to put your toiletries. Pretty outdated bathroom!

The room was clean and staff was was great. visited my daughter at college, the location was perfect. We also used the restaurant for Sunday brunch and were very pleased.
Two items. The room was very warm even though the temps outside were in the 50s. Had to run the fan all night and leave window open. Also the shower had little to no water pressure and ran hot and cold. This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at the hotel and the first time I had issues.
