Chose because of locality - relatives live close by
We come here frequently but this last visit was disappointing because we were on the lower floor - carpets were not as clean and we saw a dog coming in - later learned their were rooms on that floor reserved for dogs.

I have lived in Bellingham for 22 years. I went to Poppe's often for the entertainment. I still have family in the Bellingham area and when I go there, I always stay at the Best Western Lakeway. the accomodations are very nice and it is clean and comfortable. The staff are always helpful and courteous. I will be back.

Very convenient. Right off the highway. Loved the pool area atrium set-up and sauna. That was awesome.
No continental breakfast? REally? For that price? Also, our rooms were not ready at 3pm for check-in. Very inconvenient as we were there for a soccer tournament so had to go to the field and change into our uniforms on the pitch. Again - for that price? And nobody offered us free anything for the inconvenience. Too bad.

Proximity to University.
Beds were very uncomfortable so suffered sleep deprivation. Air conditioning vented behind curtin and ineffective. No exhaust vent in bathroom. Pool and hot tub close early for adults preventing use.
