Almost everything. Excellent choice ane, for Switzerland, reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and the bed a good size.

1. Lack of information in room about snack and breakfast alternatives. i.e. no information that a continental breakfast was available. (Menu in lift but lift so fast there is no time to read it). 2. Cheapskate tv system. Most remote control functions appeared not to work. Perhaps some written instructions necessary. 3. Why just one extra pillow in a two-person room? 4. Why no coffee/tea makking machine in room? Other budget hotels supply them. I know we could have asked for most of the above to be solved - but should that be necessary?

The usual Ibis welcome plus free local transport ticket. Also free WIFI which is unfortunately not the case in other hotels.

The receptionist was fantastic. We were only in Basel for one afternoon and evening. and she gave us terrific suggestions on how to get to places and how to prioritize what we saw in that period of time.
