The room was lovely - clean, fresh and beautiful. However I had to request for a room change as the first room they put me in was on the top floor which looked liked an old part of the hotel. The air conditioning didn't work and it was rather old an dinghy. The second room they gave me was much, much nicer.

The pool was rather small but still, it was nice for what I paid for the room. The glass screen on the bathtub needed to be sealed better as water was running through the gap and onto the floor each time I showered.

The hotel is located in central barcelona. Very easily reached from Diagonal metro station. The hotel proved to be a lot better than i had expected. We were placed into a nice quiet room. Toiletries and bedding were replaced every day. No bugs, no mold, no smells at all. Aircon was a plus, i didnt realise we would need one until after we arrived. Breakfast was a good deal: 7 euro per person and it was very substantial. There was a safebox in the room that we could use. I also was able to use an iron to press my clothes (other hotels didnt have any for fire safety reasons). Internet in the lobby was free, and you can have 1hr a day wireless in the room free of charge. That was even more than what we needed.

Not many options for places to eat in the neighborhood. Otherwise the hotel itself is perfect.

The room allocated was too small

My room was very quiet environment.

One room had no refrigerator and did not have a safe. The window was to open a fireplace inside. Virtually opening the window they saw it, and only concrete wall. Price same as for others.

The best thing was the room had two front doors, which kept out all noise, so it was the most peaceful hotel room I have ever stayed in - even though it is almost in the city centre.

It is impersonal to a fault and the staff (other than one person ) did their best to ignore us.
