Closeness to the airport and the in-hotel restaurant. Very nice staff.

Plumbing in the bathroom had been repaired and drywall around repairs was not good. Some holes. Bed was very comfortable but the room lacked a feeling of warmth. I felt like it was partially under repairs or something. Ceiling was peeling in some areas. Elevator wasn't working.

Not well lit...under construction, room wasn't finished...hot and cold water reversed. Poor breakfast selection.

It was the same hotel as the seminar I attended. The swimming pools were nice. Housekeeping was good.

Restaurant service was deplorable. Food was passable, but there were not nearly enough people to staff it. About the worst we've ever experienced. Lack of an elevator was a serious issue.

The hotel is close to the airport and my daughters home

We arrived we asked for a shuttle to pick us up. The airport is only 4 minutes away. Three different calls to the hotel and 45 minutes later in pouring rain, we hailed a cab. Upon arrival the shuttle was just pulling out. 2 mornings we went for breakfast to find no eggs and when we asked for eggs we got nasty looks. The bar had no A/C and had been that way for a month. The bar was not stocked with wine, even asking for them to purchase more wine from the supplier and assured the staff we would buy a bottle per night, it did not happen. On Saturday, I made an appointment with the GM (first name Red) for 8:30 monday morning which I understand he lives on site, was late. I told all the problems and he agreed to subtract 2 night of the 5 nights stay off my bill. He did not, he only picked up a couple charges that was insulting. My grand children live in Ashville and I come to visit every 6 months for 4 to 6 days. Was not happy and now understand your GM does not know how to run a hotel.

No hot water.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very accomadating. The drapes on the windows kept the room very dark in the morning so it made sleeping in easy - a real treat! It's great that they allow pets too.

Some of the staff we had to deal with during our stay didn't speak english so that was difficult.

We were there at 9:30 to check in and they had a room available for us. Very nice and accommodating.

Told the bar opened at 4 p.m., went down at 4, 4:15, 4:45 and it finally opened at 5. Bit unprofessional. But the bartender was great and we had a good time with her.

The room was advertised as smoke free but had a strong cigarette smoke smell.
