Staff; cleanliness

Staff was very helpful, courteous, and very friendly (staff at front desk was our only interaction).

Furniture very outdated & room had a musty smell to it.

Visit family, friends, graduation

I was surprise how comfortable the beds were. The staff was very nice even when we check in at 2am.

You cant beat the price for clean, courteous and cheap!

The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Despite the rest of Humboldt county where I felt like I could be mugged (I was approached at least 20 times in two days) by some of your aggressive homeless people, there were no homeless people hanging around outside the motel like I've experienced at other places I've stayed in Eureka and Arcata. Would have been nice if more places would have been open on xmas day. I chose to spend my holiday near the ocean, but on xmas day found myself staying in my room cause everything was closed. Perhaps Arcata could address this if they want people to vacation here. I like the hours of the pool and jaccazzi! Most places close to early!!!!! Thank you!

The waffle mix was flavorless! Threw mine away. Better breakfast options (yogurt, more fruit, waffle mix with flavor).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room and food was really nice.

Noise level..a couple of mornings about 6 am there were staff talking loudly in the hallway for quite a long time, it could also have been other hotel residents. The room was really good quality for the price, but the bed itself really needed to be replaced. It was. Very soft and springs could be felt.. Most hotel beds are much newer and firmer than the ones in the room. They were hard on the back..

The fellow who checked me in and the gal who checked me out were professional and very nice. The bathroom was quite clean.

I wanted to book the HoJo near the airport, so I was disappointed when I read the confirmation email closely the day before our arrival in the area. The room was OK, but the headboard was all scratched and the bedclothes were a little shabby.

Room was very comfortable, my grandson thoroughly enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. The desk clerks were very pleasant and professional.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I liked the location...quiet and out of the way

Could have been a little cleaner and I don't like that the windows are clearly visable to the rooms across.
