Comfort Inn Albert Lea

Great employees, clean room, nice breakfast and a great location.

Close to truck stop but not really a problem unless you you make it one.

This was our second stay at the Albert Lea location. As always, our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly!

Very accommodating

Elevators....we had to wait for 3 elevators to stop....they would be full, many times of service people and dirty laundry before we could get a ride down.... that became a problem....we took the stairs if we were not carrying luggage....but it happened every time, not once or twice

Room was clean, very comfortable bed.

Pretty noisy w/ the interstate traffic, plus the truck traffic around the truck stop area (we were in a corner room facing both areas). The room heating/ac unit was really loud when turning off/on.

Pets were ok, very clean and comfortable, close to interstate.

Rooms were large, and as we had 2 bikes that we wanted to bring int our room for the night, that was a HUGE plus. Easy on/off to the highways/ interstate. Breakfast was satisying, and filled us up adequately!

Breakfast was good.

Check in took some time since only one of the two workers was up on thier feet, the other never got out of the office chair to help while we waited for at least 10 minutes for the working gentlemen to help. Our room was backed tight against the truck lot next door, and we had to listen to diesels idling all night long. The pool are was completely packed, and the outside door was wedged open with towels so that some drunken smokers could stand there and smoke. After hoping that the staff would come out and handle it for quite some time, the smoke was getting too strong for me to allow my six year old to deal with so I was forced to ask the people to close the door so that we wouldn't have to deal with it.

We flew into Minneapolis from Alaska on our way to Iowa City and it was a great place to spend the night for our drive the next morning.
