La Palm Royal Beach Hotel

The bed was hard and the bedsheets were exceptionally clean. I* particularly liked the hotel grounds and layout which had Palms for shades. the Lawns were well maintained. The local Ghanaian restaurant was very good and close to the Ocean with cool breeze.

The menu was too limited and was repetitive. More variety at least a second option should be introduced. there was inadequate or no communication about events taking place within the hotel. for instance the Easter sunday brunch and musical band activities was not communicated. Upon checking out I was told that I should have booked for the Hotel shuttle in advance and I asked the reception staff how I was to know when upon arrival a shuttle bus was waiting and part of the selling point was that Hotel shuttles were always available. I was forced to change 100 dollars at a very unfair rate so as to pay 50 Cedis to get to the airport.

Attention by staff, swimming pool, free wifi, luggage well looked after on last day of stay, good restaurant

Wifi was limited to one device per room. Hotel would not trust me to charge minor items to my room on the grounds I had paid my bill in advance!

Location

The attitude of staff,. They are not friendly at all. Even the day we were checking out, we brought our keys to the front desk all we could hear from the lady GO. In the hospitality business I expected to hear thank you for staying with us and we hope you enjoyed your stay and when are we expecting you back? BUT all we held was GO. Not good at all. Even the staff don't know how to GREET their guest . They just work pass you and even when you greet them they not even know how to answer you.

Hotel location very good, the beach, the windows can be seen directly from the billowing waves of the sea. Buffet is also good.

Check-in time too late to wait until four in the afternoon. We take a 16-hour flight to the hotel after one p.m., exhausted, until five points have room to live in.
