Poland
Despite a turbulent past plagued by shifting borders, decades behind the Iron Curtain and long periods of non-existence, Poland has emerged as a vibrant country with plenty to offer visitors. HotelsOne can help you find the right hotel room for you in many of Poland’s largest and most exciting cities. Modern Poland hotels can be found among the skyscrapers making up the modern skyline of the capital city of Warsaw (Warszawa to the locals). Centuries-old hotel rooms can be found in the medieval city of Krakow, Poland. Business hotels can be found near the Trade & Fair Centre of Poland’s business and banking capital, Poznań, and Gdansk offers many fine hotel rooms looking out onto the Baltic Sea. So if it’s a hotel in Poland that you’re looking for, HotelsOne can tell you all about the hotel and all about the Poland landmarks near the hotel, so you can make your Poland reservations…without reservation.

Many Polish locations are so full of beauty and history that they’ve been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Here are a few: A Poland hotel near the Old Town and hotels near Wawel Castle in Kraków can take you all the way back to the 13th Century. Hotels close to the Renaissance city of Zamość allow you to visit ancient buildings built for Polish, Jewish, Armenian, German and Ruthenian settlers. A hotel in Krakow, Poland also provides access to Auschwitz Concentration Camp, 60 kilometers away, where you can bear witness to humankind’s potential for cruelty. Some hotels can be found near the ingenious early 20th Century architecture of the Hala Ludowa (People’s Hall) in Wrocław, and a hotel in Bialystok can have you communing with nature in the Białowieża Forest, home to Poland’s (and Europe’s) last remaining wild bison. Poland hotel rooms are also available in Szczecin, Sopot, Rzeszów and Katowice, home to Poland’s finest examples of Modernist and Art Nouveau architecture

One of our favorite things to do in Poland is to eat! Many hotels in Poland have their own restaurants, and HotelsOne will tell you which ones. But whether you’re eating in a hotel, a restaurant, a café or a bar (or a hotel bar), some dishes you won’t want to miss include Barszcz Czerwony (a red beet soup akin to Borscht), which is usually poured over dumplings, Zapiekanka, which is an open-faced mushroom and cheese-covered baguette served in bars and roadside stands, and of course that Polish favorite, Pierogi. And when it’s time to leave the country, you’ll be happy to know that HotelsOne lists hotels near Okęcie Airport in Warsaw, hotels near Balice Airport in Kraków, and hotels near many other airports as well.
