Made up of 7,107 islands, the archipelago that is home to the Philippines provides many miles of beaches, as well as lush green rainforests and magnificent mountain ranges. Whether your hotel in the Philippines is in the capital city of Manila or whether you visit one of the many Philippines hotels located in isolated tropical paradises, HotelsOne.com can help you with your Philippines reservations. A HotelsOne.com hotel room can have you walking to such Philippines landmarks as the Baroque Immaculate Conception Church in Manila. Or how about a Davao hotel with a view of Mount Apo, the tallest mountain in the country? One of the many airport hotels near Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport makes for easy island hopping, and a hotel in Puerto Princesa puts you in the sports and eco-tourism capital of the Philippines.

The Philippines can be roughly divided into three regions; Luzon in the north, Visayas in the middle and Mindanao in the south. Luzon is home to the capital, and a Manila, Philippines hotel makes a great homebase for seeing the region. With a modern skyline, much of Manila is new, owing to its heavy damage during World War II. So a Manila hotel is likely to be thoroughly modern. Manila is also a large city, sharing 20 million people with its suburbs. Hotels in the Philippines’ Visayas tend to be concentrated in Cebu City, where you’ll find such attractions as Colon Street, the oldest in the Philippines, whose historical buildings are surrounded by much activity when the sun goes down and the market starts up. A hotel in one of the many southern islands of Mindanao can expose you to a more traditional Philippines, as this is where the country’s more indigenous populations still reside. A hotel in the Island Garden city of Samal might be a beach resort where you’ll be surrounded by blue water and green trees, while one of the hotels in Davao can give you a front-row seat to the sights, sounds and flavors of the annual Araw Ng Dabaw and Kadayawan Festivals.

Davao is also home to the Philippine Eagle Center, where you can see around 30 of the Philippine eagles, which are among the world’s largest…and most endangered. Philippines hotels also make great homebases for exploring the country’s natural wonders. You can travel from your hotel to Boracay, the 10 kilometer island featuring beautiful white sands. Or see the UNESCO World Heritage Site Banaue, where you’ll find 2,000 year old rice terraces that are regarded as the 8th wonder of the world. HotelsOne.com looks forward to helping you find the right Philippines hotel for you.
