South Korea

From the heavily militarized DMZ in the north to the teeming crowds of downtown Seoul to the peaceful temples in the countryside, South Korea provides the traveler with a unique variety of adventures. South Korea hotels can be just as varied as South Korea landmarks. HotelsOne.com looks forward to providing you with the information you need to select the right hotel in South Korea for you and to helping you make your South Korea reservations. Most HotelsOne.com hotel rooms are found in Seoul, the vibrant capital of the country. A city of over 10.5 million residents, it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. In fact, the greater Seoul area has the world’s second largest population, behind greater Tokyo. Seoul hotels tend to be a modern affair, ranging from the five-star Grand Intercontinental Hotel near the convention centre, to the architecturally cutting edge Yeoksam Artnouveaucity Hotel.

Seoul, South Korea hotels can also put you near such landmarks as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeok-gung, a royal palace dating back to the year 1405 and Changgyeong-gung, originally built in 1104 as a summer palace for the Kings of the Koryo Dynasty. Hotel rooms in nearby Incheon, South Korea can not only have you close to Incheon International Airport, but also Songdo Resort, home to a large Ferris wheel with a view, a swimming lake and a water slide. Incheon is also home to Korea's independence memorial. There are also hotels in South Korea’s southern coast, specifically in the city of Busan. More than just the country’s largest seaport, Pusan is where you’ll find hotel rooms close to the beautiful Beomeo-sa Temple and the equally beautiful Yonggungsa Temple complex, which is set atop a large rock overlooking the ocean. Busan hotels also offer access to Haeundae Beach and Hur Shim Chung Spa, featuring a massive hot spring complex which claims to be the largest in Asia. South Korea hotel rooms can also be found in the cities of Suwan and Daegu.

For a more modern (and business-oriented) experience, a HotelsOne.com hotel in the city of Changwon lets you explore a city that has only been around since 1974. Though designed as a South Korea industrial centre, a Changwon hotel gives you easy access to such non-industrial activities as an annual tree blossom festival and an annual bird watching festival at the nearby Junam Reservoir, where you can see between 30,000 to 40,000 birds a day. South Korea hotels, though mostly located in the cities, can also serve as great homebases for exploring the beautiful forests, mountains, lakes and islands that too few Westerners take the time to see.
