The desk attendant when we checked in, David, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our reservation was upgraded because one was available without our asking. The appearance of the hotel was appealing.
The hotel is located at a very busy intersection. Our room which faced the street was noisy.

The hotel was very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. It was very nice to stay there. I would go back.
It would be nice to have some type of breakfast offering. That is the only thing that I would have liked.

We loved the space we had, the showers were great with pressure, my grandchildren loved having their own room and even tried the whirlpool tub.
Your own coffeee was terrific!, but somedays we were there there was none or the machine did not work.
The staff helped us in finding boxes for moving my mother-in-law which is why we were there. Thank you! Having a free washer and dryer was wonderful!
Wish there had been a dishwaher; I cut my right ring finger when washing a glass by hand. I did not enjoy washing dishes by hand in such a small sink as well as being on a vacation & needing to relax. The staff gave me a bandaid.

It is a nice hotel with a great staff for the most part.
Yeah, there were 4-5 loose nails underneath the counter top that I sliced my leg on, complained to the front dest and they had someone come knock them in but they only offered me a bandaid and said "oh"..

I appreciate the helpfulness of the entire staff. Any questions or needs were met with friendly assistance. I particularly appreciated my request for the same room we had the previous year when we stayed there. I would book at the Varsity Clubs of America again next year when my 86 year old mother and I take our Tucson trip to see family.
I wish they would bring back a restaurant area. We dined there frequently in the past. I was disappointed that there was no place inside the facility to get a little bite. The 24-hour coffee machine was a definite plus. I hope they continue this service.

We have stayed in Tucson 10 times in the past few years, and wonder why we have never stayed here before. The suite was spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. We could entertain in the living area without feeling like you were in someones bedroom. Nice pool area, that was kept quite clean. We used the workout room which was better equipped than other hotels similarly priced. We requested a room off the street which they granted. I wish I had found this place 4 years ago.
The air conditioner was noisy, but I also like background noise.

Very Quiet & comfortable. Very roomy space with everything we needed. The staff was always pleasant and knowledgable about points of interest, restaurants etc.
Since I have problems with allergies to smells and fragrances, I found the smell off the linens and pillowcases somewhat bothersome. Also, since we are used to feather pillows we found the foam pillows a bit hard to sleep on.

We were in the Tucson area near the Christmas holiday. The lobby was very welcoming with a Christmas tree and we enjoyed sititng by the fireplace. The pool area is very clean and relaxing. The fitness center has a decent setup of cardio and weight machines and free weights to allow for a good workout. The complimentary coffee in the lobby is nice.
