Our room was quiet and comfortable... although it would be nice to have some counter space to put an ice bucket, glasses & snacks. Do any hotels use plain old flat pillows like an average person has on his own bed?
First of all, I was not offered any discounts... and I'm 66, I write articles for the Winona State Alumni publications, and we paid less at the Holiday Inn Express in Liberty, Mo. (11/30/12) when we stayed down there the night before Winona State's Mineral Water Bowl football game.
Also, my friend and I really looked forward to using the hot tub, sauna and pool Sunday morning (2/17/13)... and we couldn't get any of the facililties to WARM UP! (The only time we weren't shivering was when we were in the pool.)

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location to the wedding we were attending. The hotel had great amenties, hot tub, sauna, breakfast. The rooms were very clean, new like, and we thought it was great. We did not bring our kids; however, we thought they would of loved the pool. We will keep it in mind in the future, should we return to Winona again. Thanks.
