Main reason for choosing Congress Suites at the Strand: Location
The situation is very good and the staff obliging. Rummena well equipped.
We have comments about the cleanliness. The rooms themselves are OK and fully acceptable, but the bedding was not changed in part, it seemed.

Main reason for choosing Congress Suites at the Strand: Location
We enjoyed our stay and the many places we visited. The staff was always very helpful and seemed to care about our needs. I think that if the hotel had a lobby that was by the street it would be more inviting. Rather than where it is now kinda hidden.
The close proximity to the beach and the pool.
They need to improve on their housekeeping staffs skills. Our coffee maker didn't work, a light in the room did not work, the ipod dock station didn't play the ipod. When housekeeping would come they wouldn't supply the bathroom with the essential shampoo,conditioner. I had to keep asking the front desk. I think it would be a great idea if they have like a check list of things that they check for to make sure they are in good working order, before a new guest comes into the room.
