Main reason for choosing Appomattox Inn and Suites: Location

We were at the Inn a very short time due the 4-H Shooting Completion, but it was very nice and wished we had more time to spend there. Maybe next year. It was very nice to get the 4-H shooting discount, that my husband and I thought that was super and hope we can also next year.

Location, staff, internal bar and finger foods could be ordered, and especially the housekeeping staff who did a tremendous job!

I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities, decor and the breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We were in Virginia for the Hampden-Sydney College Homecoming and couldn't get a room in Farmville so this was the next closest area with room vacancies.

It was clean and close to the national park.
The hotel is nice but the amenities are cheap. For example, limited selection at breakfast, the so called store has minimal items, the prices for food at the small bar are outrageous. Also, you have to sign to acknowledge that you will pay $100 minimum if anything is missing from the room.

The entire experience was wonderful. The minute we arrived we felt welcome and comfortable. Not only was the hotel beautiful but the staff and accommodations were exceptional.
